Guardians of the Sacred Chain are persons who have undertaken the same promises as members of EAU, but do not wish to formally join the organization or pay dues for whatever reason. You may, of course, make donations separately, which we encourage.
All dues-paying members of EAU are automatically Guardians of the Sacred Chain and do not need to join this group separately. Dues-paying members are eligible for leadership positions, get mailed newsletters and access to special sections of our forum.
Guardians go on our email list for e-blasts related to activism (for example, to call Congress on an immigration bill) and have access to their own non-public section of our forum.
Please provide the following additional information in comments section when you check out: Your Sex, Your Date of Birth, your Phone Number if you wish to receive calls from the Board of Directors and any skills you have either vocational or avocational that may be of use. Please make sure your email address is correct!
When you elect to join Guardians of the Sacred Chain, you agree as follows:
I am applying to join Guardians of the Sacred Chain of European Americans United because of my desire to participate in the organization’s activities. In exchange for the opportunity to participate in these activities, which I acknowledge to be good and valuable consideration, I certify and affirm my agreement with the following:
> I have read and understood the Constitution, Objectives, Statement of Principles and Ethics of European Americans United and agree with them. (You can find these at http://www.europeanamericansunited.org)
> I can pursue the Objectives of European Americans United and adhere to its Principles with a clear conscience and without a conflict of interest.
> I am a person of wholly ethnic European ancestry and am not the beneficiary of any Right to Return to any nation, state or country other than the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and the countries of Europe.
> On behalf of myself, my successors and assigns, I hereby forever release, discharge, hold harmless, exonerate and promise not to bring any legal action against European Americans United or its directors, officers, contractors, volunteers, agents or their successors or assigns for any claims, damages, demands or liability of any nature whatsoever that arises either directly or indirectly from my participation in the activities of European Americans United.
> I hereby agree and promise forever that I shall not disclose the identity of any other Guardian of the Sacred Chain, EAU Member or Volunteer Member of European Americans United to any person or entity that is not also a Guardian of the Sacred Chain, Member or Volunteer Member of European Americans United unless compelled to do so by Court Order or under special exceptions included in the Constitution of EAU, and I agree that I am liable for any and all damages that may accrue to any individual or organization harmed by my failure to keep this promise. I explicitly understand that this promise is for my lifetime and I am not released from it by the voluntary or involuntary termination of my Membership, even if my membership or volunteer membership was accepted by the organization on the basis of inaccurate information I provided.
