Minnesota: Taxpayers Finance ‘Madrassa’

Publicly financed Muslim school named for antiwhite jihad figure

According to reports, overburdened taxpayers in http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1047 to people conversant in Western history and culture. Known to Spaniards as Taric el Tuerto (Taric the One Eyed), the school’s namesake Tarek ibn Ziyad was the brilliant Umayyad general who led the Muslim imperialist jihad invasion of Spain in 711 AD.The Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy was originally supposed to be a private Muslim school, but when immigrant Muslim families, many of whom have been sponsored by Christian churches, were unable to afford private school fees, California’s Islamic Relief USA agreed to sponsor TIZA as a publicly funded charter school.

With an imam (Muslim cleric) principal, halal food,  and “Islamic studies” classes after school, TIZA maintains that it is not sectarian, since the government is not allowed to finance parochial schools. Still, according to a  Minnesota Monthly article in 2007, “A visitor might well mistake Tarek ibn Ziyad for an Islamic school. Head scarves are voluntary, but virtually all the girls wear them.” Katherine Kersten, a journalist with a local newspaper said that “The school has a central carpeted prayer space, and “vaguely religious-sounding language” is used. According to the Pioneer Press, TIZA’s student body prays daily and the school’s cafeteria serves halal food (permissible under Islamic law). During Ramadan, all students fast from dawn to dusk… [When addressing Muslim audiences, school officials make the link to Islam clear. At [the Muslim American Society of Minnesota’s 2007 convention, for example, the program featured an advertisement for the “Muslim American Society of Minnesota,” superimposed on a picture of a mosque. Under the motto “Establishing Islam in Minnesota,” it asked: “Did you know that MAS MN…houses a full-time elementary school”? On the adjacent page was an application for TIZA.”

Minnesota has had numerous problems because of the liberal activism of some churches and other special interest groups, who sponsored “refugees” and then allowed taxpayers to pay the huge welfare, schooling and social costs. The first large group to invade Minnesota was the Hmong of Laos and other http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1363 Islamists, who dominate the taxi trade in Minneapolis/St. Paul, have flexed their muscle by refusing to carry MSP International Airport passengers who have alcohol in their luggage, or disabled people with guide dogs, since dogs are “unclean” in Islam. They also have managed to secure their own prayer room exclusively for Muslim use at the airport.

While it is difficult to imagine a Muslim nation paying for a school named after Richard the Lionhearted or Saint Louis, liberal whites will put up with anything, and the American Civil Liberties Union has stayed silent, in keeping with their http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=2624 long ago.

Islam conquered Spain with the help of traitors. Many Spanish noblemen were attracted to the Arian heresy, named for Arius, an Egyptian theologian. Some of the leading Arians fled to North Africa and joined forces with Islam, an historical precedent of treason that was the main reason for the Inquisition much later on. The Muslims were not finally driven out of Spain until 1492, and today are reconquering Europe through mass immigration. Many Muslims consider all parts of http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1870 and Spain to be “legally” theirs under Sharia law, and the gruesome “11M” terror attacks on Madrid in 2004 were carried out to explicitly advance this claim. In Spain, a number of Spanish converts are leading campaigns to “return” buildings and other property seized from Jewish and Muslim imperialists in the wake of the Reconquista of 1492, and demand formal apologies and financial compensation from the government of Spain.

Muslim missionaries have also had some success in manipulating the “Black Legend” to gain Hispanic “http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=3140 to be exploited. The spectacle of white Minnesotans paying for a school named after a sworn enemy and conqueror of their own race is a sign of how far downhill we have gone as a people.
