Mixed Up About Mixed-Race Matters

There are a number of concerns that members of the white American peoples need to discuss regarding the candidacy of US Senator Barack Obama for the office of President of the USA. Here are a couple.
First, he is not a unifier at all, and has no grasp about how to conceptualize his own mixed-race family situation in a positive way, for example, that Tiger Woods has managed to do. All his political actions and all his discourse emphasize his father’s side of the family and ignore his mother’s side’s contributions to raising him, feeding him, clothing him, and educating him. His father even defrauded his mother by engaging in a mock-marriage with his mother, knowing full well that he had a wife at home in Kenya waiting for his return. That is, his father held his mother in such low regard that he play-acted an illegal marriage as a bigamist. Not a man to emulate or hold in high esteem.
So how can Obama possibly unify the USA’s diverse demographics when he disrespects his mother, a misguided European American, and over-compensates on behalf of his father, an African Kenyan? Obama can say, “I will unify.” But his church, his wife, his private thoughts expressed in his books, and his votes in the Illinois legislature and in the US Senate tell a different story. His failure to embrace both sides of his family tells us all we need to know about his failure to embrace his mixed-race status, and about his inability to embrace a diverse USA, not to mention the majority demographic.
Unfortunately, this is the story that unfolds too frequently with adopted children of another race or with children of mixed races — they learn to embrace the minority side alone, and denigrate the majority side. But Obama is not just a silly whiner, he is running for President of the USA where his ability to injure the interests and hopes of the children of the diverse white American peoples would be an overwhelming disaster.
“Acting White” Is A Slur Against All The Diverse White Peoples
Second, he has a very tin ear for spotting slurs or just doesn’t care. He openly embraced the old left-wing racialist slur, “acting white,” a month or so ago (check it out in Google) as a slur against studious young black students. But it is much more a standard slur against young white students because it smothers their diversity into one homogeneous mass without distinction. It assumes all “whites” act the same. And it is easy to identify as a slur when you compare it to other negative labels like “acting black,” or “acting Chinese,” or “acting Jewish.” In any of those examples, a speaker would promptly be called out as a hater by the left-wing anti-racialists who abound at all levels of the media and government.
For Obama to fail to recognize that “acting white” is a slur and a hate caricature against diverse young European Americans is just more evidence that he lacks the credentials and insights to be a unifier in the office of President. Barack Obama presents a clear and present danger to us all.
