Asylum laws were created back during the cold war. The cold war is over. Yet these laws continue, and are used to bring over and resettle entire communities of people who cannot or will not assimilate to an American way of life, suck on the taxpayer’s teat like leaches, and in too many cases actively hate the very people who provide their sustenance.
No doubt by now you have heard of the bombing that took place at the Boston Marathon, the subsequent manhunt and most recently a related shoot-out with the FBI in Florida. Though there are many conspiracy theories regarding this event – as there always are for such events – let’s just take the story as portrayed in the dominant media at face value.
The United States grants asylum to over 20,000 people from all over the world every year.
Though, in theory, the overall purpose of immigration law is to benefit the people already here by selectively admitting people on the basis of the benefits they offer to us, asylum is a unique aspect of immigration in that it admits people based on THEIR need rather than what would benefit the people of the United States. (This is a manifestation of the communist dictum “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”)
A person who is classified as a refugee “Demonstrates that they were persecuted or fear persecution due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group” and is otherwise admissible to the United States. Notice that they only need FEAR persecution and not ACTUALLY be persecuted. Of course, once a person is here under asylum, that can utilize chain migration to bring over their entire family. In addition, according to the Immigration Equality website:
“Asylees and those who have been granted “withholding of removal” are permitted to receive many government benefits, which other immigrants are not permitted to receive. These include: welfare (Temporary Aid to Needy Families and Safety Net); Supplemental Security Income (SSI) if disabled; Medicaid and Food Stamps …”
Of course, the United States is the world’s official home of the free lunch. Even though ADD/ADHD — according to the psychiatrist who invented the disorder – is a fictional illness, you can collect a hefty SSI disability check every month just for having your kid(s) diagnosed with it!
That’s right. You can claim to fear persecution, get asylum, drag your whole family over here, and then collect lots of $free$ welfare, $free$ housing, $free$ tuition, $SSI crazy checks$ and more!
And that is precisely what the Boston Marathon Bombers did. They came here, collected amazing largess courtesy of the hard working American taxpayer, and then created bombs (undoubtedly with money provided by taxpayers) that killed many, and permanently maimed dozens. Though the Massachusetts governor has tried to keep a lid on it, it’s well known the bombers collected welfare. I’m sure they used EBT money to buy the ingredients of their bombs. No word yet on whether they used a taxpayer-funded Obama phone to activate the detonation, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

It is time to repeal these laws. Their time has come and gone. Though there was definitely a time where they provided net value to us by bringing intellectuals and scientists from behind the Iron Curtain, they are now serving to resettle Hmong tribesman and Islamic radicals who want us dead. And to add insult to injury, the American taxpayers they kill are forced to subsidize their existence. That madness must stop.
