Bronx diversity in action
A 14-year-old boy was attacked by three thugs while waiting for an elevator in his Bronx apartment building — and one heartless punk recorded the beating on a cellphone, cops said yesterday.
Surveillance footage from the Eastchester building shows the brutal assault at around 2:30 p.m. Monday as two of the suspects sneak up behind the unsuspecting victim. They wait for their cohort to get close and begin filming before they attack.
They punch him and throw him to the ground, kicking him as he lies helplessly. Then the third suspect jumps in and repeatedly stomps on the boy while the other two flee.
The trio stole the victim’s sunglasses and sneakers.
He was treated at Jacobi Hospital.
The suspects are described as between 16 and 20 years old.
