Confederate Monument Defaced With Anti-White Messages

This crime took place on the 8th of November 2009. We’ve heard nothing about this crime from any news outlets or alleged civil rights “watch dog” groups. — Ed.

The large Confederate monument on Broad Street in downtown Augustahas been defaced tonight by someone who spray painted anti-whitemessages.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has responded, and witnesses atthe scene in the 700 block of Broad told a Chronicle reporter theynoticed someone spray painting the landmark at about 8:30 p.m.

Messages were marked in black and include the words black power, Ihate whites and cracker killers as well as an obscenity against whitesin large lettersSource / Video
