UK Readers: Make Sure You’re Registered to Vote

Urgent Call from BNP’s National Organiser

by BNP News

Make sure you are registered to vote for the European elections, British National Party national organiser Eddy Butler has said.

Making the urgent call for all voters to double check that they are on the electoral register, Mr Butler said that people have until 19th May to register to vote in this year’s European and local elections, which are to be held on June 4th.

“Do not lose your vote. Every single eligible voter in Great Britain can vote for us in June and we depend on every single member and supporter in the country to do so,” Mr Butler said.

“Please do not presume that you are on the electoral roll even if you have always been on the register in previous years. Many councils now re-list voters annually and many make mistakes, even if you have filled your form out correctly.“If you have not received your polling card (some councils have sent them out already) then check immediately with the electoral services department at your local council and make sure you are on the electoral register. If you are not, then ask for a form. Fill it out and return it by 19th May and you will be able to vote.

Mr Butler asked every BNP organiser to check their membership, paper sales and known local supporter lists to make sure they are all on the electoral register. “Get those who are not signed up to do so now,” he said. “Those extra votes may be vital!”
