Dangerous clowns attack newspaper office in latest assault on free expression

Greece has the historical reputation of being the http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=6196 but, like all Western nations today, harbors a violent, censorious fringe willing to physically attack anyone they deem to be politically incorrect.
On the afternoon of 26 February a mob of about three hundred open borders advocates attacked the office of the mainline conservative daily Apogevmatini, as part of a “http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=6226" in favor of Third World immigration. The “anarchists” converged on the office with sledgehammers and bars, and smashed and burned a number of parked vehicles before being dispersed by riot cops. Some “anarchists” later launched another attack on police and a government office as well.
The center right government issued a statement condemning the violence, which is the latest in a long series of terrorist attacks on publishers and bookstores by “anarchists”: “The hooded assailants involved in this attack once again targeted the freedom of the press and the free exchange of ideas,” part of the “mindless violence and destructive rage” that consumed Greece in the aftermath of the http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=6201 in December of a wealthy teenage “anarchist” who had been part of a group hurling rocks and gasoline bombs at passing cop cars. After the youth was fatally injured by a ricochet, Greece was plunged into days of leftist and immigrant violence. The far left in Europe has a long track record of terrorism against the free press, serving as a “deniable” arm of special interest groups who want politically incorrect speech banned. In Greece especially these “anarchists” have destroyed numerous bookstores which sold titles these little censors don’t like.
The attacks are part of a terrorist campaign that has been largely ignored by human rights groups and even by Greek police. The lack of police and government action is partly the result of the threat alternative views pose to the dominant paradigm, as well as the social connections of the perps: the “anarchists” come overwhelmingly from wealthy and influential backgrounds. The 26 February “demonstration” began in Exarchia, a “gentrified” neighborhood that is home to numerous rich kids playing at leftism.
Despite the violence of the European left, it is actually an expression of impotence. In most European nations nationalist groups now represent the traditional base of the left, the white working class, as the left has switched its focus to attempts at wooing immigrants. Leftist contortions are so grotesque that they have even joined forces with woman-hating Islamist groups in calls for the veiling of women and government funding for Islamic madrassa schools.
