Building Our Movement: Publicity and Activism

People are always asking me what they can do to make a difference in the world. This article is my best attempt at an answer.

Last week, I arguedthat the growth of the pro-white movement depends on forging a morerealistic and reasonable philosophy. However, this philosophical shiftis only half of the story. Even if we achieve philosophicalperfection—and we had better not wait for that—the pro-white movementwill still fail if we do not find effective means of publicizing ourideas and translating them into political action.

As we all know, promoting pro-white ideas is fraught with danger. Many who believe in our philosophy are quite reasonably afraid ofostracism and punishment if they make their views known. Our task isparticularly difficult because we can count on little help from themajor media institutions, like television and radio, although we shouldnot rule them out as means of publicizing our ideas.

We should not be discouraged by this adversity. We should alwayskeep in mind that our beliefs, however they may be slandered, arereasonable and are capable of persuading others if we can reach them.

Pro-whites can always work with groups that address some issue ofconcern to us, such as immigration or affirmative action, withoutraising controversial issues of race. However, it would also be worththinking about setting up another organization of our own that wouldpromote activism only on the planks of our platform that are likely tofind widespread public support. Certainly, many people are angered byanti-white discrimination, declining standards, mass non-whiteimmigration, and the malicious misrepresentation of white culture andhistory that I have dubbed leukophobia. If a group focused just on these issues and left out any talk about innate racial differences or the legitimacy of racial discrimination, it might well thrive.

Such a group might even take the form of a political party. As noted here, some of the commenters on this site have recently pointed to the needfor a new party, and I thoroughly agree. In fact, I’m going to try towrite soon about why none of the parties currently in existence is aneffective vehicle for the pro-white movement.

Founding a political party is an enormously ambitious project, but Ican scarcely think of a worthier one. Working to build an institutionthat would be effective in political reality is a far more productiveproject than blogging and commenting on blogs, which is all pro-whitesseem to be capable of these days.
