The Appalachian Celtic Festival and Highland Games

It’s all about…strength.

The purpose of this organization is to:

    * Educate people in the culture, heritage and contributions of the Scots and Scots-Irish
    * Promote the perpetuation of Scottish culture, traditions, customs, history, literature and music
    * Provide venues for the recognition and celebration of their rich legacy through educational, performance, and/or athletic events that encourage local, national and international interest and participation.

TheHeritage Conservancy Alliance Festival had its beginnings in 2001 underthe auspices of the Tunnel Hill Historical Foundation, and wassponsored by the THHS for the first three years. In 2004, a small groupof dedicated individuals formed our now non-profit organization. Wehave accepted the challenge of preserving and continuing the originalintent of the festival, Wetruly believe that the preservation and celebration of  one’s heritageis worthwhile not only for yourself but for the generations to come.

Weinvite all interested individuals and corporations to participate inour festival by either becoming a Friend of the Festival, a sponsorand/or a volunteer to help preserve our rich and colorful heritage.
