LA Times Endorses McCain

Salutes his open borders stance

The Los Angeles Times, part of the dying old media complex, has endorsed John McCain for president. Key in their endorsement is the fact that he ignores the wishes of the American people in general, and of conservatives in particular, and “courageously” supports amnesty for an estimated 11 million to 12 million illegal aliens.

Despite the fact that the Los Angeles Times has had to cut back on whole sections and staff as people ignore “mainstream” papers for new media sources of information, the editorial staff is unable to stop talking down to the public, which it calls “ignorant” about the  immigration crisis that has devastated Los Angeles.

The endorsement arrogantly says that “As the Republican field indulged this campaign season in an orgy of ignorance on immigration, McCain stood his ground, sponsoring legislation that would provide a route to citizenship for the 11 million to 12 million immigrants here illegally. His rivals have argued for mass deportations and strong border fences.”Perish the thought!

The mainline media still has enough of a handle on information that they have been able to sideline, ignore and marginalize the populist campaign of Ron Paul, who has raised the largest number of donations of any GOP hopeful, the bulk of it from grassroots people anxious for a genuine change.

The elite are attempting to crown McCain, but the voice of the people may still find a hearing.
