<p><strong><font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif” size=”2″>Political correctness at its worst</font></strong></p><p><span style=”FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: “><font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif”>An anonymous letter was today received regarding an obviously dangerous Egyptian criminal who is posing as a refugee here in Malta. This man can be repatriated at anytime but is not.<br /><br />It is becoming clearer by the day that the present Maltese government does not represent the Maltese people. It is failing in one of its primary duties in protecting Maltese citizens. </font></span></p><p /><p><span style=”FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: “><font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif”>We have also included a loose English translation for the benefit of our non-native readers. </font></span></p><p /><p><span style=”FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: “><font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif”>Viva Malta </font></span></p><p /><p><span><font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif”><font size=”2″><strong>Here follows the loose English translation: </strong></font></font></span></p><p /><p><span style=”FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: “> <font face=”verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif”>Sir,<br /><br />This is not the first letter I am sending you because I have already drawn your attention to the case of 05 RR 14, who is Egyptian and not Iraqi as he stated when he first came into Malta. This can even be noted from his accent and can also be confirmed by those who knew him in Libya where he was before he escaped to Malta.<br /><br />This person is dangerous and has already spent 9 months in prison after being found guilty of attacking a police officer when he was kept in detention at Ta Kandja. He even spent some time at Mount Carmel Hospital [a mental hospital.<br /><br />He has not changed his ways and is still behaving in the same manner where he is now being kept at Lyster Barracks in Hal Far. He constantly and very arrogantly verbally abuses the public officials in charge, he spits in their faces, invites them to fist fights and even threatens them with death once he is let out to roam free [in the open centres.<br /><br />Recently it was discovered that he is trafficking drugs in the detention centre, and after being tested for drug use was found positive for drug use. He was transferred to Hal Safi but no steps were taken against him, neither for drug trafficking nor for drug use. No investigations were carried out regarding his illegal drug use.<br /><br />It will soon be time for him to be released and one can well imagine how potentially dangerous this person will be to Maltese society in general. His behaviour has not changed during all his time in detention. He has spent all his time there terrorizing people and this is not likely to change once he is roaming free amongst law abiding Maltese citizens.<br /><br />I have warned you more than once about the dangers posed by 05 RR 14 and therefore I feel that I have done my duty and that my conscience is clean.
