Diversity Kills

A popular creed has been celebrated throughout college campuses with similar zeal as that showed by the English after defeating the Spanish Armada, Americans gaining Independence, or Germans tearing down the Berlin Wall. However, 21st Century celebrations are not due to monumental moments in history, but to a concept which will make those great moments irrelevant to posterity.

During my time at Northeastern Illinois University (2001 – 2006), I noticed blind devotion to a sacred creed which exceeded all other facts, theories, or philosophies in value for students, teachers, and administrators. Devotion to “diversity” over Western Civilization was evident at first glance. One did not see copies of the Magna Carta, Bill of Rights, or The Ten Commandments displayed throughout the campus. Instead Che Guevara, Malcolm X, and various pro-“diversity” posters dominated the landscape.

Public scorn was directed towards anyone who questioned NEIU’S sacred message. Despite the University setting, students were not taught to analyze the topic, but accept it as truth.

“Celebrate Diversity” became the most prominent rallying cry both in the classroom and at public events. But how could we celebrate what has been the cause of such violence and bloodshed thus far in the 21st Century? The short term effects include violence, loss of sovereignty, and a slow but continual loss of national identity. The end result is the loss of our nation. Evidence continues to mount throughout the world with each passing day.   This past November was the third straight in which France was afflicted with heavy violence. All three cases were predictably similar. The perpetrators were all African and/or Muslim, with violence breaking out after an event in which Third World individuals were thought to be mistreated, and took place in the “no-go” areas surrounding Paris, spreading out to other areas.

The mainstream politicians blamed opposing parties and a lack of financial aid in minority neighborhoods for the riots. French elder statesman Jean Marie Le Pen predicted for decades that the French people would pay a high cost for lax immigration policy. After the first set of November riots, in 2005, Le Pen said that it “Could be the first signs of a civil war.” Two years later, dozens of burning cars and over 100 injured police officers was the result of three consecutive nights of rioting. It appears that Le Pen was right. The 2005 riots may have been the first of many.

Le Pen’s defense of his nation throughout a lengthy career in public life has prevented him from a 2002 Presidential debate with Jacques Chirac and possibly the Presidency. While Le Pen’s courage may have prevented him from occupying a deserved office, others have actually lost their jobs being so heroic.

In http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1010, Sweden, policeman Bengt Linstrom lost his job for publically criticizing the consequences of mass immigration. Linstrom has witnessed the consequences intensify as the city’s demographics shift towards a Swedish minority. In addition to firing Linstrom, the Malmo police department warned his former co-workers to keep their mouths shut or suffer the same fate. The targets in France and Sweden are often professionals entering areas due to work necessities. However, civilians were targeted in the most notorious attack on Britain. On July 7th 2005, four Muslim suicide bombers killed 52 innocent people and caused injury to another 700.

Americans have been ideologically afflicted in the same ways as the French, Swedes, and British. Additionally, Harvard political scientist http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1495, Putnam revealed data which proves that diverse communities create isolation which is not common in traditional neighborhoods. More people keep to themselves as trust, voting, and local involvement decrease.

While big cities have been affected most, small towns will eventually succumb to diversity if current trends continue. Traditional small townspeople across America who attend parades, celebrate local heroes, and cheer at high school football games collectively will become a footnote in history books.

It isn’t only individuals suffering from the consequences of diversity. Cultures will diminish, countries will perish, and future generations will never fully understand the concept of nationhood.

NEIU and other Universities which follow the same creed refuse to analyze this Century’s most important issue. It is time that those at my alma mater studied the data regarding the issue they revere above all others. If they did, a different conclusion would result. Diversity isn’t such a great idea after all.
