Roll Call of Infamy: Who Voted for HR 1955?

by John Young

Frank Roman’s most recent podcast, http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=2271 makes the situation with HR 1955 clear. Far from exaggerating, Mr. Roman’s explanation was far nicer than the Representatives who voted for this piece of fascistic totalitarian legislation deserve. Naturally, it is named something entirely different from what it really is: “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007.” It should be called “Protection of Hacks from Justly Angry Constituents Act of 2007.”

Let’s get down to brass tacks and put the United States government into perspective. The U.S. Government is really in only one business: protecting and expanding itself and its own power. Period. It has programs to address poverty, and poverty gets worse. It has programs for education, and literacy falls. It has programs for the environment so corporations get to pay and still pollute. It has programs for drug safety and still people die from unsafe prescription drugs. All of these programs are just window dressing for what the Unites States government really is, and has been since the War between the States: a self perpetuating infinite employment program for hacks, ne’er-do-wells and individuals who would be banished from any sane society. The list of unbelievable crimes committed by the United States government against its own citizens would fill a library.

Do you recall the MK-Ultra program? If you want to be chilled to your bones, just look it up on Wikipedia. Our government administered psychoactive substances to citizens without their knowledge and consent in their quest for the power to control men’s minds.

Maybe you recall the Tuskegee Experiments? From 1932 to 1972 the U.S. Government deliberately infected 400 poor black men with syphilis just to observe the effects.

How about the Cincinnati radiation experiments that took place from 1960 to 1972? In this case, under a U.S. military program, people undergoing treatment for cancer were also given tremendous whole-body doses of radiation for the purposes of military research. Without their knowledge. Without their consent. In 1999 the government agreed to pay the victims $5.6 million, without admitting any wrongdoing.

This is our government. It may get smarter at hiding the bodies, but its nature hasn’t changed. This legislation, HR 1955, is aimed at anyone whose views put the above-the-law-gravy-train of the U.S. Government at risk. It fears destruction because it so powerfully deserves to be altered or abolished. It’s like the thief who imagines everyone is trying to steal his stuff.

At this point, thanks to our representatives, the United States is on the brink of economic disaster. Between a house-of-cards Federal Reserve system, an uneasy multi-ethnic electorate, Ponzi-scheme social welfare programs and the looming long-emergency of Peak Oil, the U.S. government fears that when the chickens come home to roost the citizenry may actually hold it’s government accountable.

There are thirty active secessionist movements in the country who have already given up the idea of reforming the federal system and instead advocate its destruction through attrition. The Free State Project is trying to reduce the scope, power and cost of government. Everywhere people have seen the monster of government and are starting to awaken. Mainstream black-activist groups like Nation of Islam and the Rastafari are reaching conclusions similar to those held by EAU. This is the inevitable result of a government that has become it’s own end or the means to seek the objectives of a powerful oligarchy; but by no means a government actually representing the people. The government seeks authority, but dreads responsibility. It seeks to rule, rather than serve. It keeps its own secrets.

That’s why Congress has devoted such a huge military budget to matters of domestic crowd control, when the use of military against our citizens is not even allowed under Posse Commitatus. Are you seeing this?

The ruling oligarchy is working overtime to try to shortcut the laws of cause and effect and thus escape the just desserts to which a justifiably angry electorate will undoubtedly treat them when all the lies are revealed. H.R. 1955 is one step along that road.

This legislation must be stopped in the Senate. Light up the switchboard at (202) 224-3121, and let your Senator know that s/he cannot vote for thought-control measures like the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007.”

And call your Representative at (202)225-3121. Let him or her know how you feel about how he voted. It is NOT too late to engage the system in order to change the system.

The Wall of Infamy is below. These representatives should be ashamed and repentant. Unfortunately, one of the keys to electoral politics in modern America is to be beyond shame. But they are not beyond the ballot box: use your time wisely this election cycle so freedom will once more ring throughout the land of our forefathers and posterity!
