Caste Football Looks at the 2007 Washington Redskins

pictured: John RigginsIt’s another dreary Redskins team, demographically and probably on the field of play, too.15-year vet Mark Brunell is now the full-time backup as Joe Gibbs gives Jason Campbell his chance to be the starter at QB. Various reports have had Campbell being slow to pick up the Washington offense while others remark about his poise and obligatory (for black QBs) “rocket” arm. Black quarterbacks are not placed under the microscope nearly as much as white ones are, so Campbell remains pretty much an unknown quantity heading into the 2007 season.13 year vet Todd Collins joins Brunell as the other backup quarterback.Gibbs’ other white players are clustered at tight end and the o-line. All three tight ends are white, led by starter Chris Cooley, one of the best in the league. He’s backed up by Todd Yoder, who was an excellent wide receiver at Vanderbilt before being forced to beef up for the racially correct role of TE; and rookie Cody Boyd from Washington State.Three whites start on the line — RT Jon Jansen who’s one of the best, C Casey Rabach, and 12 year man Pete Kendall at LG. Jason Fabini, Mike Pucillo, and Todd Wade are backups. The starting defense is all black. The only two white players are second year free safety Reed Doughty out of Northern Colorado, and tackle Ryan Boschetti. All in all another pitiful Caste-worshipping product from washed up Joe Gibbs.NUMBER OF WHITE STARTERS: 4APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF WHITE PLAYERS ON 53 MAN ROSTER: 16GRADE: F
