[color=red]pictured: Carson Palmer[/color]There seems to be conflicting reports on whether the Bengals starting left tackle is Levi Jones (black) or Andrew Whitworth (white), but what isn’t in contention is the fact that San Quentin’s Team is one of the blackest in the NFL.Quarterback Carson Palmer blossomed almost instantly once he became the starter in his second year in Cincy and is the kind of franchise player just about any team this side of Indianapolis and New England would love to build around. Even after having his knee almost completely blown out in a playoff game in January of ’06, Palmer rehabbed in record time and threw for over 4,000 yards last season even though he wasn’t completely recovered.The only other white starter on offense is center Eric Ghiaciuc. Andrew Whitworth, a second round draft pick out of LSU in ’06, is the top backup at LT and LG and appears to be very close to being the named the starter at LT. Scott Kooistra and Alex Stepanovich are also backups.Yale graduate Nate Lawrie is a backup tight end. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jeff Rowe back up Palmer.On defense, Justin Smith remains an elite player at end. A model of consistent excellence, he’s had at least 60 tackles every season since his second year and also gets plenty of sacks and quarterback pressures.Fourth year man Caleb Miller out of Arkansas is very talented and sees the field quite a bit but has yet to crack the starting lineup except through injuries to the team’s “real” LBs. Ethan Kilmer is a White Special Teams Demon who is playing some at safety but is listed at the bottom of the depth chart. Kilmer is probably the fastest player on the team but it will be an upset if he’s ever “allowed” to be a starter. Must be those “tight hips” he was born with, or a “lack of game speed,” or some other magical subjective deficiency that whites are always decreed to possess. Considering how white Americans have allowed their sports to be taken from them through the use of easily refuted myths, maybe “lack of intelligence” will soon be used when evaluating white athletes.
