Action Alert: Call Senate First Thing on Tuesday!

by John Young

The Senate has scheduled a crucial vote on the Amnesty/Surge Immigration bill for tomorrow. This is a cloture vote. A vote FOR cloture is a vote FOR amnesty for both criminal aliens and the businesses who break dozens of State and Federal laws to employ them.

It is absolutely CRITICAL that you contact your Senators as early as possible tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. You can call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask for your Senator’s office. It won’t hurt to Email your Senators as well from the Senate’s http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm.

Make sure to tell your Senators:

1. Vote AGAINST cloture.
2. Current enforcement provisions are ignored by the President, so the new ones will be too. Past performance is the best predictor of future results.
3. We do not need third-world “guest workers.” We need businesses to be responsible instead.
4. We shouldn’t grant amnesty to lawbreakers.
5. Cheap lettuce pickers aren’t crucial to our economy.

Call them and Email them. This is down to the wire and YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Act NOW – future generations are counting on you to simply pick up the phone to keep them from becoming minorities in their own country.
