Why Aren’t Conservatives Attacking Immigration Bill More?

The fight is up to us

by Charles Coughlin

The Immigration Bill before Congress will destroy America as we know it. The Senate has already voted to ban any filibuster. The Bill could be passed in as little as two to three weeks. Not only will 20 million illegals get citizenship, but their relatives will get Z-class visas. Even worse, a larger invasion of illegal aliens will follow. These 20 million illegal aliens showed up in America in the 12 years since Bill Clinton’s 1995 “Citizenship USA” amnesty. If we give amnesty to the current illegal aliens, we will be invaded by 50 million more illegals over the next 12 years.

Given this information, why on earth are so many conservative talk show hosts making such a feeble effort in the fight against the Immigration Bill?? Any true patriot should be glued to this issue and encouraging his audience to lobby Congress on a daily basis until the Bill is dead. Are conservatives afraid to mention the fact that George W. Bush will sign this piece of treason and that the Republican president is part of the problem? Is their loyalty to Bush interfering with the need to attack this Immigration Bill with ruthless determination?

I was listening to various conservative talk radio programs to see if they were pounding the Immigration Bill. Most of the talk show hosts, I heard, were wandering off topic if they were talking about it all. Rush Limbaugh made a few brief mentions of the Immigration Bill yesterday, but today he was going on about how “justified” the Iraq War was and how there really were WMD’s in Iraq. Get a grip on reality, Rush!! You’re on the Titanic heading for the iceberg and you’re talking about the dinner menu!!Sean Hannity was making a good effort to talk about immigration, but he’s come down with laryngitis. His substitute host was wandering off to irrelevant topics even though one caller tried to get him back on track complaining that his son was being forced to learn Spanish in a public school. The substitute host largely ignored that caller and started rambling about Tele-Tubbies and the late Jerry Falwell.

The best radio program in America attacking the Immigration Bill is the John and Ken Show based in Los Angeles. The ironic thing about this is John and Ken aren’t conservatives. They’re political independents. They’ve been devoting a large percentage of their four hour daily show to the Immigration Bill. Their show can be heard over the Internet http://2005.kfi640.com/pages/streaming.html. (Click on “Click here to launch.”) The show airs daily 3pm to 7pm Pacific Coast time.

I sincerely hope that other right wing talk show hosts are taking the Immigration Bill seriously. There are traitors in Congress and a madman in the Oval Office who will give amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens if we don’t strongly oppose this bill and badger them on a daily basis.

All I can say is the fight is up to us. We need to e-mail our friends about this bill and tell them to call their Congressmen. We need to keep contacting our Congressmen every day. We should start calling up conservative talk show hosts about the Immigration Bill. If they won’t talk about it, we should ask them why?
