Plant City, Florida At least 2 people walked out of the 45th annual East Hillsborough Law Enforcement Appreciation dinner in Plant City Tuesday right after the hired entertainment performed their first song.

“The song was entitled, ‘Press 1 For English,’” Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin White recounted.

He was at the dinner but was so disturbed by the song’s lyrics that he walked out.

“If you don’t speak English, go home. If you don’t speak English, you’re not welcome here. If you don’t speak English, get back on the boat and go where you came from,” White cringed as he remembered the words.A traveling husband-wife team from Kentucky, called Rivoli Revue, performed the song.
