Hillary and Barack: The Voters Choice

Democrats, those who support ‘democracy’ from both sides of the political spectrum, were molded spawned and activated by an educational and media machine of unimaginable power. The kinds of ‘voters’ it has produced are unpatriotic servile marionettes and their leaders are morally treasonable ringmasters–ALL of them. Early on the seeds of our own destruction were already planted in the sociopolitical system as we know it today, but we were deliberately not informed of it. With the passage of time–certainly following the Second World War– we can only conclude the system cannot be tweaked, and it cannot be ‘restored.’

What we have now is the delusion and enslavement of the people–mostly White– by the creation of a false sense of obligation and patriotism. Knowing this is the trail head to mental and spiritual liberation, for how else can one explain the rise and support of these two icons of utter malfeasance?

President Obama

Government is the problem, has been the problem, and will always be the problem. It will be inefficient, fraud ridden, wasteful, corrupt and susceptible to abuse of power from those within Government. That said, a civilized society cannot exist without government.

Our founders recognized the problems I outlined, but also that their society needed some form of government. Their solution resulted in our Constitutional Republic, with individual liberties and freedoms protected by the Constitution; with limited federal powers, along with the separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches.

So to me, the measure of whether we are better off now with Obama versus before Obama is based on whether our government has grown or remained limited, whether our individual liberties have been infringed more or freed, and whether any of our separate branches of government have grown in power beyond that given to it by the Constitution, or do they remain equal?
And I make that assessment with the clear recognition that the State of our Union when Obama took over already had a government that had grown immensely, with a regulatory state involved in all aspects of our lives, with liberties infringed, and an ever growing powerful executive branch.

But the question is whether that state has worsened, remained the same or become better. To me, the answer is easy, we are worse off. Significantly worse off.

Before Obama took office, the use of Executive Orders and the “imperial presidency” was a problem. Obama campaigned against it. Not only has he not stopped it, he has made it worse, so extensive now that he brags and threatens with it. Makes speeches on it.

Before Obama took office, the use of signing statements was more executive overreach. Obama campaigned against them, and promised not to use them, until of course he needed to, which has made his executive overreach worse.

Before Obama, the Patriot Act was a problem in government overreach. Obama campaigned against it. Then re-authorized it under his Presidency, and it is worse today than before. Mass surveillance of people without warrants.

Before Obama, Presidents going to war without congressional approval was a problem. Obama campaigned against it, then became President and decided to go to War against Libya, overthrow a government, cause chaos, all the while never calling it a War, and actually arguing with a straight face that he didn’t need congressional approval.

Before Obama, the use of Drones for Secret war from afar was a problem. Obama has now used it more than any other President in almost complete secrecy. His use has been so far-reaching that he actually used it to kill American Citizens, and there are many who would call that an act of murder. Quite frankly, this scares me to death.

Before Obama, we were in two wars – Afghanistan and Iraq – both mistakes. Obama pledged to get us out of them. To this day, Obama is still bombing in both countries, and has bombed 6 other countries, Obama almost talked our way into a war with Syria, and Obama is in the middle of what is likely to be a perpetual War on Terror all around the world, with no end in sight and again, all done with only an “after the fact request” for Congressional approval and which Obama right now is more than happy to let the War go on without it.

Before Obama, the deficit was a major problem. He called it a moral problem, campaigned against it. He then became President and will likely have allowed the deficit to double by the time he is done, probably close to 20 trillion, and has done nothing to slow this increase, other than gripe about the sequester, which is the only thing that has slowed it.

Before Obama, Guantanamo Bay was a problem. People held without due process. Torture. Obama campaigned on closing it. Not anywhere near closed.

Before Obama, illegal immigration was a problem. Obama pledged to fix it. Now, it is worse because it not only still exists, but his attempt to correct it was done through executive power.

Before Obama, regulatory over-reach was a problem, and since Obama, it has become even worse. The numerous examples in Obamacare alone show the extensive sprawl of government into our lives through the decisions of non-elected officials. The recent attempt at controlling carbon that the Supreme Court shut down was another. The regulations on banks. The list is quite frankly, endless.

Before Obama, people complained about income inequality. Since Obama it has increased so much that Sanders might win the Democratic nomination because of it.

Look, I don’t just blame Obama for this. We need a Congress willing to be accountable for its decisions, but we don’t have one, we primarily have career politician who only care about reelection and party lines; we need a Judiciary with courage to uphold the rule of law even if that destroys a President’s signature achievement, and most importantly, we need a public who will vote for representatives who keep the president in its place, and don’t belittle them as obstructionists.

But that doesn’t happen. Most Americans see Obama through a partisan lens and even if they could be forced to admit that Obama has overstepped his power, they still accept it so long as the steps Obama take are what they want, or worse, as long as it is being made by someone with the same Party affiliation, because then Obama’s political party and congress will jump in line behind him. To make this worse, the party in charge tries to stack the deck on the Supreme Court with party members, changing this from a third branch to a rubber stamp.

Can we cherry pick numbers and statistics to show our economy is better? Sure. Would our economy and those numbers be better or worse without the government action? We will never ever know since it is impossible to have a control group. Is Obama really to blame or credit for what has happened? Who knows for sure.

But have our individual freedoms and liberty lessened? Absolutely.

Has our government grown in size? Absolutely.

Has our government power and control concentrated more in the Federal? Absolutely.

Has the power of our Executive branch grown? Absolutely.

Has our government continued to wage non-congressionally approved War around the World? Absolutely.

And that is why we are worse off under Obama.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

If you’re under 50 you really need to read this. If you’re over 50, you lived through it, so share it with those under 50. Amazing to me how much I had forgotten! ‪#‎ClintonCorruption‬

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours.

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House.

Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:

She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.

She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor.

After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

Hillary’s game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for ‘lying under oath’ to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.

Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next.

But to her loyal fans (supporters) – I guess in her own words “what difference does it make?” I guess being a female Democrat is all that matters. By the way, I’d post the same if she were a Republican. You see, she’s already been in the White House, she has a record we can review.
