IF you believe we have a crime problem in the United States, you’ll be happy to know that gang members are being busted in Nebraska thanks to a program called Operation Wipe It Down. Wouldn’t this be a formula for success across the country? Of course. So why won’t the media report stories like this?!

Arrest warrants executed on Thursday are the first wave in a joint effort targeting gang violence in Omaha.
Authorities said the 18 people have a total of more than 400 previous contacts with law enforcement, 72 arrests, 15 felony convictions and 49 misdemeanor convictions.
So far, investigators have seized 28 firearms, more than 1 pound of marijuana and about 72 grams of crack cocaine.
As of Thursday night, nine of those charged were in custody.
Those not in custody are currently the focus of searches by law enforcement officers.
