Practical Everyday Activism: Letters to the Editor

Letters to the editor are great advocacy tools for European Americans.

by Frank Roman

While it is encouraged that you write to your members of Congress stating your opposition to Third World immigration, non-white crime rates against white Americans, etc,  sending letters to the editor can achieve other advocacy goals. Keep in mind a well stated LTE will reach a large audience including many like-minded persons and they are are often monitored by elected officials; creating an impression of widespread support or opposition to an issue.

Many newspapers will only print a letter to the editor after calling the author to verify his or her identity and address. Newspapers will not give out that information, and will usually only print your name and city should your letter be published.Keep it short and on one subject. Many newspapers have strict limits on the length of letters and have limited space to publish them. Keeping your letter brief will help assure that your important points are not cut out by the newspaper.

Make it legible.Your letter doesn’t have to be fancy, but you should use a typewriter or computer word processor if your handwriting is difficult to read.

Depending on the subject matter you should also be prepared for possible backlash, especially if your position leaves no doubt that you are an advocate for European Americans.

For example, if your local paper presents a glowing article on the increasing number of Hispanics moving into your area your job will be to counter the “feel good” piece with hardcore facts about Hispanic crime rates, illegal documentation, spousal abuse, and of course their propensity for taking more out of the system in terms of public assistance, than what they put in. Needless to say more than a few do-gooders may write in to try to shame you or make you regret your words. Pay them no mind. Even people that you know may be “shocked” at your position. Educate them at will.

Even if your letter is not published it is still important to write one when an issue needs to be addressed. It is still seen by many eyes at the paper, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to Blind Carbon Copy your letter to smaller regional papers as well.

While most news outlets are unabashedly pro diversity (i.e. fewer whites) they nevertheless WILL publish a well written sane LTE that expresses deep concern / admiration for your own people.

Go ahead. Somebody out there wants to hear what you think.
