$1,000,000 Bill Gives Black Man Hope

Reporter Todd C. Frankel spent more than two months following Dukes onhis odyssey. As with any news story, Frankel avoided interfering withthe course of events, so that the story could unfold as naturally aspossible.

Yeah, liberals love and respect black people. Sure they do. Check out this story from a couple weeks ago. I missed it, but found it on HBD. It’s about a 51 year old black man who finds a “million dollar bill” ina phone booth, believes it’s real, and his two month “odyssey” to findout if it’s real.Yes, you read that right. A reporter hears about some ignoramus whofound a $1 million dollar bill and is trying to determine if it’sauthentic. So Todd Frankel, instead of politely explaining to thesimpleton that there’s no such thing (without necessarily adding thatanyone with an IQ above 70 should know that), writes up a long storyabout the man’s “hunt for the truth.” Now, granted, the front of thebill does look pretty realistic.

But it says RESERVED NOTE instead of FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE, and if you look close it says that the bill is notlegal tender. But at first glance, if you lacked the common knowledgethat there’s never been any such thing as a $1 million note, and thecommon sense to understand why that is, it could certainly be deceiving.

Still though, you would think that the back of the bill might have been a slight tip off, as about half of it is filled with religious jargon.

Yeah, this is authentic currency

Here’s what that says:

The million dollar question: Will you go to Heaven whenyou die? Here’s a quick test. Have you ever told a lie, stolenanything, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at awoman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in hisheart.” Have you looked with lust? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day?If you have done those things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that if you are guiltyyou will end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He sent His Son tosuffer and die on the cross for you. You broke God’s Law, but Jesuspaid your fine. That means He can legally dismiss your case. He cancommute your death sentence: “For God so loved the world that He gaveHis only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perishbut have everlasting life.” Then He rose from the dead and defeateddeath. Please, repent (turn from sin) today and trust in Jesus alone, and God will grant you the gift of everlasting life. Then read yourBible daily and obey it.

In other words, it’s a gospel tract.
