Providence College in Rhode Island has issued a statement saying it will not allow former Congressman Tom Tancredo to speak on campus. The reason?
Tancredo’s stance on illegal immigration “directly contrasts” with Roman Catholic Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence, a member of the college’s Board of Trustees.
