Orwellian “hate” measure passed
Yet another link in the “thought crimes” chain restricting America’s freedoms was forged today in the US House of Representatives, which passed H.R. 1913, the “Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009” by a vote of 249 to 175.
The measure grants special protected federal legal status to selected groups, adds additional charges to crimes already long deemed illegal (such as assault), and punishes people for what they think, say or believe, instead of merely for what they do. A crime is thus seen as somehow “worse” if the reason it is committed is deemed politically incorrect. H.R. 1913, which special interest groups are bragging they have championed for a decade, is part of a wide ranging series of efforts to artificially enforce the artificial kinds of “diversity” for selected groups which are leading the Western world to ruin.
