ISNA was also named as a “friend” of the Muslim Brotherhood in the
infamous May 1991 Brotherhood memorandum that spoke of Muslim
organizations in the U.S. being dedicated to “a kind of grand Jihad in
eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and
‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s
religion [Islam is made victorious over all other religions.” </font></p>

a view which turns a blind eye to the real oppression of women that is
