What do you do when you are an Open Borders advocate, who wants to turn every city in America into a run-down Tiajuana slum and you have to talk to a group of ordinary Christian Americans? Well, if your name is Mike Huckabee, you stand up there and LIE right to their faces.
Mike Huckabee had the nerve to claim that he’s all for “securing the border.” Somehow he failed to mention that he thinks it’s “un-Christian” to deny benefits to people, who have illegally entered the US and that he won’t consider deporting the 20 million illegals in the US today.One http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Huckabee notes “Huckabee has been criticized for supporting illegal immigration. In his 2005 State of the State address, he complained that a Hispanic student was not able to get financial aid because he was an illegal alien. Huckabee said: ‘But when he applied for financial aid, he wasn’t eligible for the various scholarships or grants because of his status, a status that he had no decision in or control over.’ Huckabee vehemently opposed a 2005 bill sponsored by Arkansas State Senator Jim Holt which would deny state benefits to illegal immigrants, calling it ‘un-Christian.’ Huckabee argued that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits: ‘They pay fuel taxes. If they’re using a fake Social Security number, they’re paying Social Security taxes and will never receive any benefit. It would be closer to the truth to say they’re subsidizing Joe McCutchen and Jim Holt more than the other way around.’ ”
Not only is Mike Huckabee shamefully pro-illegal alien; he is a fantastic liar too. Huckabee repeats the lies of the Open Borders crowd claiming that illegals are paying their way in taxes.This claim is total garbage. California loses an estimate FIVE BILLION DOLLARS per year on illegal aliens. Does that sound like they’re paying their way??? Most illegals work for cash on the black market paying NOTHING in taxes. A few illegal aliens get white collar jobs and use a fake Social Security number. These people make life hell for ordinary Americans, whose social security numbers they “borrow.” One poor American woman had to spend months trying to explain to the IRS why half of her income in a previous year did not go to her, but went to an illegal alien. Mike Huckabee of course doesn’t care about ordinary Americans who are victimized by illegals. He only cares about those “poor, little illegal aliens,” who get all his sympathy and love, while the rest of us are left out in the cold.

Huckabee’s contribution came from the governor’s $500,000 emergency fund and was one of roughly 20 appropriations Huckabee made from the taxpayer fund in his final days in office.’ Critics of Huckabee say his support of the Mexican consulate broke federal law. In 2007, Huckabee said, ‘I just don’t think it’s realistic to say this weekend we’re going to round up 12 to 20 million young people and their children and we’re going to put them across the border and they’re never going to come back.’ In a 2007 interview, Huckabee argued against job loss caused by illegal immigration saying, ‘You know, when people say, ‘they’re taking our jobs’ — I used to hear that as Governor — and I started asking this question, ‘can you name me any person, give me their name, who can’t get a job plucking a chicken or picking a tomato or tarring a roof that would like to do that work?’ ….I never, ever, had a person who could come up with the name of a person who could not get a job because an illegal immigrant had stepped in front of them because it was either a job that person didn’t want to do or didn’t exist.’ ”
Well, Mr. Huckabee I know people who couldn’t get jobs in southern California because illegal aliens took those jobs. I even know Americans who couldn’t get jobs in white collar professions because LEGAL immigrants from Latino countries took those jobs too. Maybe if you didn’t spend all your time with rich, arrogant blowhards like yourself you might know what ordinary Americans already know.

He stated in an interview with National Review, ‘I have always said you don’t punish a child for the crime of a parent…..Frankly, it’s in our best interest to try to get that child on to a higher level of education.’ In his opening remarks among Hispanic civil rights leaders at a LULAC convention, Huckabee said the nation will need to address the concerns of the Hispanic community because of its growing influence and population base. ‘Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority,’ Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter. He told the LULAC delegates that their presence in the state’s capital city was very important because Arkansas has one of the fastest growing Hispanic populations in the nation. ‘Your gathering is so very significant for our state,’ Huckabee said.”
So Huckabee wants to “seal the border” but he doesn’t want to deport the 20 million illegals already here. This is like closing the barn door after all the cows wandered out and fell over a cliff. Huckabee is a typical two-faced politician who can’t be trusted on the critically important illegal alien problem, and frankly -judging from his bleeding heart arguments on behalf of illegals– Mike Huckabee can’t be trusted on anything. America is on the brink of turning into a Third World nation thanks to sell out politicians like Mike Huckabee. We need to deport him to Mexico so he can be with the people, he really loves, and so America won’t be destroyed by his Open Borders insanity.
