Keep the Pressure on Congress: No Bailout!
Action Alerts; Posted on: 2008-09-29 18:41:02 [ Printer friendly / Instant flyer ]
So far, our government has already spent hundreds of billions propping up Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; and lent AIG tens of billions of dollars. When you add the proposed bailout to what has already been spent, it will top a TRILLION.

There are only 101 million working Americans in this country. This bailout comes to $10,000 for every working American.

Lately, the corporate media have taken to calling this bailout an "economic rescue plan." Don't buy it. Using government to take $10,000 away from your family and send it to the richest people in America is NOT going to rescue our economy.

Think about it. Taking money out of your pocket and giving it to bankers who will lend it back to you -- and charge you interest for the privilege will not help your family's economic bottom line in the long run.

This is merely a scam to further consolidate control over our financial system in the hands of a few well-connected globalists.

So call your Representatives and Senators. The number for the capital switchboard is (202)224-3121.
