Update: European Americans United Responds to Fairfax County (Va) School Board
    Activism; Posted on: 2008-04-15 18:40:39 [ Printer friendly / Instant flyer ]

School board's timidity over accepting the findings of their own ethics /racial study addressed.

    Hello!

It has come to our attention that in 2006, the Fairfax County (Virginia) School Board decided to incorporate “character education,” or the teaching of emotional and social skills, into school practice. To this end, we also understand the board came up with a list of Essential Life Skills that students should be taught, such as winning accountability for one’s actions, keeping promises, respecting others, and so forth. Eventually you, the Fairfax County (Virginia) School Board,  then set out to study the parallel dispositions of the students in Fairfax county. The newly released results of the study showed racial disparities among your students in the areas of ethics and morality, results that were completely unsurprising for race realists, but which now trouble the board.

The results of the analysis show that black and Hispanic third-graders show lower moral character than whites and Asians. Ninety-five percent of Asian and white students were graded as having a “good” or “outstanding” moral character, as opposed to 82 percent of blacks and 86 percent of Hispanics. Given the controversial nature of the findings, we hear the board is now timid over accepting the information, information that most laypersons have taken for granted for years due to experience.

It is our contention: should you, the Fairfax County School Board, not accept the results of this report, the process of the findings appearing to be reasonable, you will be guilty (if not negligent) of perpetuating the myth commonly known as ‘equality.’ For the sake of being ‘fair’ we simply cannot and must not allow trends that bring all students down to the lowest common denominator to continue. Even as some deny the reality of race as a definable (and sociologically important) sign of basic physical realities, new studies continue to disprove the belief that race is merely a "social construct."

Additionally, we contend that should you formally vote to not accept the findings of the study in question, the Fairfax County School Board will be displaying a paternalistic form of black / Hispanic “supremacism” over Asian and Caucasian children; who will bear consequences which include lower academic standards and an environment that fosters unacceptable ethical and moral behavior. Given the deplorable state of government schools you now have the opportunity to break new ground and usher in a new era of understanding.
