    Action Alert: H.R. 1022

Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) has introduced a new gun ban bill (H.R. 1022) that would effectively ban all rifles with detachable magazines. The list of co-sponsors looks like a who's-who of the usual anti-freedom suspects. If you want to preserve the Second Amendment for posterity, make defeating this bill a priority!

Call your Representative at (202) 225-3121 and tell him/her "No!" on H.R. 1022.

You can find your Representative by Zip at www.house.gov, and even send your elected official Email there. YOUR voice has an impact, especially when added to other voices.

This bill has been referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security. Special attention should be paid to contacting the members of this committee.
