After first learning that the House Rules Committee might meet today to set the rules for debate of the DREAM Act, we have now learned they will NOT meet. Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Jeff Sessions spoke out this morning about the possibility of the DREAM Act Amnesty coming to the floor of the Senate. In his statement, Sen. They said it was unfair to punish the kids. I said NO, it's unfair to my son who paid out of state tuition his first year at college, it's unfair for my nephew who is serving to have to wait a year to go to college or pay out of state costs. They aren't here legally, which means they don't have valid identification....so how do you check that? No answer from the aide. I asked what happens after the 2 years of college? Do they have to actually pass or just attend? Graduate? How many slots are open at any college? Every week I hear about how much tuition is going up because of the rising costs. How many more professors are we going to have to hire to accomodate more illegals? And who said the U.S. has to be the savior of all? We are bankrupt....14 trillion dollars and counting...are we going to borrow more from China to pay for illegals that shouldn't even be here, much less enjoy ALL the benefits of being a citizen?
