European Union: The Beginning of the End?

Those with ill-intent ensure that things become as complicated as possible in order to cement our dependence on them.
They say that if a frog is dropped into a pot of boiling water it will promptly jump out, but if it is dropped into warm water which is then slowly heated, it will remain unaware of the danger and will die. In this case, we are looking at Britain’s slow immersion into the dangerous waters of the European Union.
The British government’s upcoming inquiry to determine the “temperature” is a clear indication that the British “frog” has a glimmering of the fact that it may be in danger, and feels compelled to assess its situation.
The overall problem, as I see it, is that concentrations of power, such as the United Nations and the European Union, greatly facilitate the seizure of power by persons or people who wish to acquire it. The further the levers of power can be removed from the people, the less our democratic systems can help us, and the less knowledge of their situation will be available to those affected.
