If there is anything worse than unfairness, it is ‘make believe’ fairness.
A
recent article on the far left / progressive Addicting Info website
listed five reasons why re-electing president Obama was a good thing.
The first entry dealt with a rejection of trickle down economics.
Secondly it extolled the unearthly brilliance of
Obama voters and liberals in general, and third, their progressive
interpretation of 'fake' patriotism versus 'real' patriotism.
The fifth
line item declared that they still have a long row to hoe in terms of
nailing the final Red nail into the American coffin, economically
culturally and spiritually.

Purism versus Realistic Politics

No, compassion we have, for people who deserve our compassion. But since the world has no compassion for our people, then forgive us if we reserve our compassion for our people.
Those voting for a third party or not voting are purists. With this presidential election we are being presented with a political proposition. What are the facts? First of all, we know that either Obama or Romney is going to be the next president. Secondly, one of them has to be worse than the other even if it’s only by ten or twenty percent. A purist would not vote for one or the other; a purist is going to vote for the candidate that best represents his ideology; the purist doesn’t care if that candidate is only on the ballot in a few states, and if that candidate is only going to get less than one percent of the vote. The purist stands by his principals. This philosophy of purism is not effective in the political arena. In realistic politics, you have to have the ability to act in a calculated and strategic way. Purists make good ideologues and good revolutionaries, but they are ill-suited when it comes to politics. In politics, you often have to take what you can get.

Russian Nationalists Mark Unity Day With Rallies

White Russians want a white Russia, no matter who doesn't like it.
Police in the Russian capital say some 6,000 people have participated in a march of nationalists to mark the National Unity Day holiday, one of dozens of similar events across the country. The rallies -- both sanctioned and unsanctioned -- were being held under the title "Russian March."
Organizers of the sanctioned rally in Moscow claimed that as many as 20,000 people participated in that event. Some 25 marchers were reportedly detained in the capital for wearing banned Nazi insignias, and police reported that some marchers set of fireworks, flares, and smoke bombs. It was the first time the authorities allowed the march to proceed in the center of Moscow.

Go to Google and do a search on “African Americans for Obama” and see how many different sites you get. Several of those are either sub-domains of, or pages in, the official Obama site. Others may or may not be officially sanctioned by the Obama campaign. But nevertheless, in 2008 Barack Obama's greatest asset was his (marginal) blackness, his race. Blacks were euphoric to see one of their own headed to the White House, and whites who were properly conditioned did everything but back flips on a busy interstate to ensure his presidency. In other words the one defining feature is the fact that Barack Obama was elected on the basis emotion.

Towson University Tries to Silence Jared Taylor

The perils, and rewards, of countering ideological supremacism from the left.
This coming Tuesday, October 2, Jared Taylor, editor of American
Renaissance, will speak at Towson University at the invitation of a
prospective student group, the White Student Union (event details are here). This will be an “interest meeting” to see if there is sufficient interest on campus to start the group.
The university is doing its best to shut down Mr. Taylor’s talk.
First, although students routinely get free space on campus to hold
“interest meetings,” this has been denied to the students organizing the
White Student Union (WSU). They will have to pay $350 for the meeting
room where Mr. Taylor will speak.

Memorize and make “ideological supremacism” a buzz-phrase
to use against liberals and the politically-correct.
I recently saw a definition of “supremacism” that I thought nailed down “liberal” and “politically-correct” attitudes perfectly, but I lost it, and had to do a Google search to re-find it. It is absolutely astonishing how difficult it is to find the word “supremacism” without it having the word “White” glued to the front of it as a sort of mandatory prefix!
But, I eventually managed to find what I was looking for.
According to “Wordnik”, the definition of the word “supremacism” is:
“The belief that a particular race, religion, gender, or culture is superior to others, such that those who identify with it are entitled to dominate, control, or rule those who do not.”

With less than seven weeks to go, President Obama still seems to be
holding a small but decisive lead in the presidential race—some 2.7%
according to Real Clear Politics’ average of the polls on the morning of September 19. And, even more alarming for the GOP: Obama's near-landslide lead in the Electoral College map, which Real Clear Politics puts at 332-206 for Obama.
It is now clear that the Romney-Ryan strategy of ignoring social issues and campaigning solely on the bad economy is a failure. One recent poll even put the hapless Republican ticket at zero percent among blacks.

Two scenes in George Lucas’ first Star Wars movie beautifully encapsulated the emotions I felt while attending both the GOP Convention in Tampa and the DNC Convention in Charlotte:
